Charging Networks at a Glance

Network Coverage Best for
Tata Power EZ Charge Largest single network, tens of thousands of points nationwide Broadest coverage, especially highways
Statiq Major cities and highway corridors Urban fast charging
Jio-bp Pulse Fuel retail outlets nationwide Highway stops, familiar locations
PlugShare Crowdsourced, covers all networks + private/community chargers Cross-network search and real user reviews of individual stations

Tips for Finding a Working Charger

  • Cross-check PlugShare’s user reviews and recent “checked in” activity — official app listings don’t always reflect whether a charger is actually working right now.
  • On highways, plan for roughly one fast-charger stop every 50 km on most major national highway corridors as of mid-2026 — but always keep a backup station in mind.
  • Call ahead for less-trafficked stations, especially outside major cities, since uptime varies by operator and location.

Admin note: the embedded map above needs a Google Maps Embed API key added to the iframe src (currently blank) to render live results — see Google Cloud Console → Maps Embed API. Until then, the map area will show a placeholder/error; the network search buttons and table below work regardless.
