This week’s catalogue sweep found two electric vehicles that had already launched in India but weren’t yet on our price list, one newly confirmed upcoming model, and a missing top-spec variant on an existing scooter. Here’s everything that changed.

New arrivals added: Tata Sierra EV and Simple Wave

The Tata Sierra EV launched on 30 June 2026 at Rs 18.79 lakh ex-showroom and had been missing from our catalogue entirely. It’s now listed with its full six-variant lineup, from the entry Pure 63 RWD (Rs 18.79 lakh) up to the range-topping Empowered A 75 AWD ACFC (Rs 26.48 lakh), across 63 kWh and 75 kWh battery options.

Simple Energy’s Wave scooter launched on 2 September 2026 at an introductory Rs 1,09,999, with deliveries beginning 25 September. We’ve added the confirmed base and top-trim pricing (up to Rs 1,89,999); the four middle variants’ individual pricing wasn’t confirmed by a source we trust yet, so those will follow in a future update rather than being guessed at now.

New upcoming model: Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric

Mercedes-Benz has confirmed bookings for the locally-assembled GLC Electric will open in the first week of October 2026, with launch targeted by the end of the year. Pricing and battery specifications haven’t been announced yet, so it’s listed as upcoming without a price until Mercedes confirms one.

Variant correction: Ola S1 Z

Our Ola S1 Z listing was missing its 5.1 kWh top variant (Rs 99,999) — only the 3.1 kWh base (Rs 79,999) was on record. Both are now listed, and we’ve filled in the base variant’s battery size, which had been unset.
