The BMW i5 range in India currently comprises the flagship i5 M60 xDrive; a more accessible i5 LWB (long-wheelbase) First Edition variant, built for the Indian market with an 81.6 kWh battery and AWD, is expected to launch in September 2026 to sit below it.

The current i5 M60 xDrive is priced at approximately Rs 1.2 crore ex-showroom. The upcoming i5 LWB is expected around Rs 87 lakh ex-showroom, with a claimed WLTP range of up to 669 km and 271hp — confirm final pricing once officially launched.
